Yoga beginners Yoga can physically counteract the strains of running. This is important to runners, who produce a lot of endorphins. Endorphins can mask pain, injury or illness. Without developed body intuition you receive from Yoga, it's harder to understand these signals.

Fast 5 miler

Workout today was a fast 5 miler. Started out at 6.0mph and increased by .1 every 15 seconds until reaching 10mph. I then stepped it down .1mph every 15 seconds until reaching 7mph. Then would start increasing again.

Did this until reaching my 5 miles. Now each time I bumped things back up, I did not make it back to 10mph.

As always, did a 10 minute cooldown at the end.
