So to burn one pound of fat a week, you’ll need to burn an extra 500 calories per day, or eat 500 calories less per day. Whenever you think of the word ‘exercise’ you probably think of hard work, right? Unless you consider an hour on the treadmill fun, I’ve got some alternatives for you to try. You’ll be burning fat, losing weight and enjoying it at the same time. Yes, it is possible!

Play with the kids – It’s amazing how many calories you can burn while running around with those little balls of energy. You can play tag outside or chase each other around the house. Or how about going for some nature walks or playing in the local park? Entertaining the kids equals staying in shape.
